Accessibility for all listening Samaritans

We need to make our branch accessible to all who may wish to volunteer as listening Samaritans. To this end we would like to install two listening stations on the ground floor of our freehold building. This will require acoustic screening, new coms and office related equipment.

DECISION:

To provide funding of £742 to the above project.

Reason for decision:

Folkestone Dover & Hythe Samaritans provide support to our community by non-judgmental emotional listening. To this end, our local branch to open up the branch to more volunteers and members of the public.
